The argan tree is a mythical tree of the Sapotaceae family with thorny branches, hence its name Spinosa. Traditionally sacred, it has been present in Morocco for more than 80 million years, very resistant and can live from 150 to 200 years.

The argan tree produces fruits called Affiache in the form of false oval drupe containing a walnut sheltering two or three almonds: The raw material of 100% natural BIO argan oil and all its products.

The tree grows from the sea level to an altitude of 1500 m, the largest concentration of argan trees is in the region of south-west Morocco, it covers an area of more than 800 000 hectares . The Argan tree exists mainly in Morocco and nowhere else in the world.
